Augmented Reality overlays digital information or images onto our real world. Augmented Reality can be used to engage learners in the material, add a digital component to a project, or could be the project. Participants will learn how to create Augmented Reality Experiences using the Metaverse AR Browser App.

Do you have littles (or not so little) who might be working in a combination of analog and digital on the same projects? How do we mash these two things together? Participants will learn to make a super cool scanning station for themselves. They'll learn about the different materials they will need AND get to play with the materials to make a smaller, mobile version of an "official" scanning station. Best of all, one lucky attendee will get a large station to take home for their own classroom!

Project Based Learning (PBL) is essential to classroom instruction.  Learn how to purposefully plan these projects ensuring student engagement, real world application, while infusing cross curricular content.  Participants will experience a PBL from the student side, while also learning about the behind the scenes planning of a purposeful PBL!

Ever feel overwhelmed by all the amazing technology options out there? I get it. You want to add tech, but there's just so many to choose from. And who has the time to explore them all? In this session we'll see how you can make a few simple changes to include technology, we'll explore PBL ideas and activities that increase engagement, and how tech can make your life easier.

This session will teach myriad tools that allow students to share their voice perhaps without even having to talk. The plan is to show Adobe Spark, Google Slides as a Book, Collaborative Book Creator, and FlipGrid.
